Submerging Swans Landing Book 2 eBook Shana Norris
I loved the first book and knew I would like the second. I was hoping Sailor would be more likable, but no. She was a stuck up snob in the first one, and she was a stuck up snob in this one. Her character is just so spoiled, self-centered, self-righteous, and she's so stupid sometimes that you just want to smack her as she's so easily manipulated, even when she's obviosly being misled. Not to mention her sever prejudices to humans when they have a legitimately good reason to hate/fear finfolk if their beliefs are accurate, and based on the history lesson we learn about the finfolk, much of it is true. Then there's her unjustified hatred to Mara that she clings to and keeps talking negatively about to poor Josh who misses her so much. But we're also introduced to a new even less likable character, who I will not spoil to new readers. Then there's another new character who's very likable, but I won't spoil that person either. Overall, I really enjoyed the read, but I could have used a more appealing heroine, or she could have at least had some redeeming qualities or learned a lesson to make her somewhat more likable.Product details

Submerging Swans Landing Book 2 eBook Shana Norris Reviews
This series has absolutely taken me by surprise! I didn't think I would like the changing perspectives and different stories that were all intertwined, but I love it. The characters are well developed and the stories are well written. I admire the female characters and Shana Norris for making them strong and independent, but still loveable and vulnerable. Can't wait to keep reading!
I very much enjoyed the first two books. I look forward to the next one in the series. I think Shana Norris has a unique talent in creating characters that not only enchant you but make you feel as if you know them.
loved it
Submerging is a story of conflicted heroes and plotting villains. Told from the viewpoint of one of the lesser characters from Surfacing, the first book in the series, this one gives us better insight as to why Sailor would be as hard on Mara as she was. If the first book was about family, this one would be about loyalty.
This story moves along nicely. Characters develop their own personality. I liked this book, will read the next book soon. Thanks
I enjoyed this book after reading the first book in the fin-folk trilogy. Looking forward to reading the final 3rd book. This book is well written and very creative, especially if you like the idea of mermaids (and who doesn't). This book takes 2 of the characters from the first book on a trip to search for their ancestry home and for the parent of one of the characters.
Rejoining our finfolk adventurers, Shanna Norris hits another home run. This time focusing on the young, seemingly gruff and rather confusing Sailor, Norris weaves a magical tale that further explores the folklore of both the history and the present finfolk culture and its differences and similarities with Swan's Landing. Filled with action, adventure, and danger to the last, Sailor and her brother are the underdogs from the start, determined to accomplish their goals. Delightful to read, hard to put down, Norris' tale enchants to the last page.
